Here's a different sort of card for me featuring die cuts using my Cuttlebug. This was really fun to make and I am feeling just a wee bit creative after putting all the pieces together!
This card is also entered in the Unscripted Sketches Challenge # 208, a web site I discovered yesterday. As the name implies, there is a weekly sketch challenge. This one was tricky, but I like the way it turned out ;)

I like the bird sitting at the beginning of your pendant. Good idea.
I really like the pop of yellow on that card. And, like Donna, who I seem to be following today, lol, like the way that you have the bird there on your banner. Too cool!
I really like the pop of yellow! Super clever to put the bird right on your banner, and is that a paper buckle?? Too cool!
So glad you joined us at Unscripted Sketches ... love your take on this week's layout ... so fun.
Beautiful combination of papers and colors and the finished card has a nice modern look. Thanks for playing along with us at Unfinished Sketches.
I'm with you on the 'tricky' part of the sketch! This sketch definitely had the challenge factor covered this week!
I'm so glad that you happened upon our blog. Your card is amazing! Fabulous use of the DP - especially love the buckle embellishment. The pop of yellow throught the project really draws attention to the banner sentiment! Well done.
Thanks so much for sharing your talent and creativity with us this week at Unscripted Sketches. Hope to see you back again next week :)
I too like the pop of yellow! The buckle and the placement of the bird- so very cool!
