ODBD January Challenge: Dry Embossing

This card was created for the Our Daily Bread Designs Challenge for Operation Write Home. For every 25 cards posted on the Stars and Stamps blog (up to 50), ODBD sponsors one box of cards sent to our deployed military. Thanks so much!
This card also works for the Shopping Our Stash Challenge 84: Use Your Old Buttons.
I keep a small jar of buttons in my craft room and add to it whenever I find another button, but hardly ever use them on my cards. Yes, they are old ones!

I really like this sentiment stamp as it can be used for many occasions such as birthday, graduation, anniversary, new home, new job, even retirement!

Brown CS: my stash
Other CS: Bazzill
Embossing Folders: Cuttlebug
Sentiment: Hampton Art
Ranger Distress Ink: 'Wild Honey' by Tim Holtz

Buttons: my stash

Cindy Ann,

The teal and mustardy yellow color really play off each other well. I like the fact that you use two different embossing folders.

Another OWHer! I love making cards for them. Love the colors you've used, and I'm glad we got you to pull out a few buttons. :)

Thanks for joining us at Shopping Our Stash!
