Our hearts are with those who have lost loved ones in past and current conflicts. Our family has been blessed with many brave members of the military from the killing fields of the Civil War to the brutal battles in Viet Nam.
When I think about the losses our nation has known, I am both saddened and proud of our heroes. May each one lost rest in peace.
I followed the sketch closely and am happy with the results. All DP is from the "Tigerlilly" collection by KaiserCraft, die cut flourish by Sizzix, the sentiment from The Stamps of Life.

Love the card you created and the colors are wonderful! Perfect for a masculine Card!!
PS: I'm leaving a comment today, but wanted you to know that since "Word Verification" has become so complex and such a chore, that I've had to make the hard decision to stop leaving comments on ANY blogs that have it turned on. I love leaving comments, but am horrible with the words and many times, I never get them. SO in an order to try and leave MORE comment, me and many others are have shut ours OFF and now comment only where others do the same!!
Thanks for you understanding!
Lisa
Thanks for the info, Lisa. I went to my settings and turned off "word verification". I hope that was the right thing to do. This is my first and only blog and honestly I did not know very much about what I was doing when I created it! I also find those funny looking "words" annoying.
Thank you again---and thanks for the nice comment about my card ;)
