OWH Midweek Challenge

The challenge is to make a card for Mother's Day. I used plain paper from my stash and a yellow brad from my collection. The sentiment was printed from my computer. Another CAS card!

OWH Midweek Challenge

This week we were challenged to make a card using green, blue, and kraft or tan. I spent yesterday and today making cards and really like this one. Since there is a blue and green dress on tan, I knew it could work for the challenge. The embossed right edge of the small red rectangle shows up better in person and adds a nice touch. It is definitely a CAS card!

OWH VCMP Challenge #11: Rainforest

This challenge called for using greens with a splash of color. I immediately thought of using my frog stamp set. In keeping with the theme, the sky is green. The splash of color is the pool of water. I used a Hero Arts cloud stamp as a template and chalked the outside of the clouds using green blending chalk. It is difficult to see in the picture, and looks better in person. I stamped the frog (2-step stamping using the outline stamp with black ink and the 'inside' stamp with green ink) and lily pad on white cardstock and cut them out. I'm not sure if I will add a sentiment.

OWH VCMP Challenge #8: Jungle Animals

Just when I thought I couldn't come up with a jungle animal theme, I discovered an old sticker set with this sweet elephant! We really shouldn't feed her, but what could a few peanuts hurt??
